The North East Innovation Lab is exhibiting at next month’s Med Tech Innovation Expo conference.
Taking place in Birmingham, the event is attended by leaders, engineers, innovators and manufacturers of medical devices.
The lab team will be talking about their role in the diagnostic innovation pathway here in the North East with partners in NIHR Newcastle IVD Co-operative, Academic Health Science Network for the North East and North Cumbria (AHSN NENC), MedConnect North and Invest Newcastle.
And how they can work with medical device manufacturers to evaluate life changing diagnostics.
The lab’s recent work has included evaluating DNA nanorobots and a breast cancer subtyping kit which can help direct clinicians to the right treatment more quickly with higher precision, improving patient outcomes.
