How to find us
The Piano Room is situated next to the Staff Bistro in Peacock Hall at the RVI. Visitors can arrive at the Peacock Hall entrance, walk straight through the lobby and follow the corridor and signs for the education centre. When you get the education centre, turn left before the Bistro and the Piano Room door comes up on your right after the cafe seating area.

Do you have an innovative idea which could be ‘made’ but don’t know where to start finding a potential maker? Or perhaps you think industry can help to solve a challenge or unmet need you have? Then come along and meet some engineering and manufacturing companies and services to explore how they might help to bring your idea to life.
This innovation networking event is an opportunity to hear from and connect with five companies and services from the north east‘s manufacturing and engineering sector.
Our Trust also has a number of in house engineering services which provide bespoke solutions and innovations in both clinical and non-clinical settings.
We’ll be discussing topics ranging from prototype development to licensing opportunities and you’ll have an opportunity to talk with experts who could offer potential partnership opportunities.
Charlotte Fox, business innovation manager in our commercial enterprise team will be on hand to talk about how she can support colleagues with ideas for new products or services.
The session is running on a drop in basis and hot drinks are provided.
