The equipment enables basic and advanced slide scanning and image analysis requirements – from single marker quantitation on whole sections of tissue microarrays (TMAs), to combined morphological and multiplex marker analysis of cells in tissues.
The software generates flow cytometry-like data and allows spatial analysis of tissue elements. Advanced tissue segmentation software allows the system to be trained to recognise features of interest based on morphology and/or marker staining.
